Warner Archive Collection announces the release of the Film Noir classics Jungle Boys, City Slicks, and Mr. Evictus.

Julien's Auctions, the world's premier entertainment celebrity memorabilia auction house, has announced its Hollywood Legends auction of over 800 items including exceptional screen worn wardrobe, props, photographs, jewelry and celebrity owned items to be held today, April 5 & 6, 2013 at Julien's Auctions Beverly Hills Gallery.

A good farce is hard to find, but based on the overwhelming response to last year's Boeing-Boeing, Northern Stage searched for another laugh-out-loud, door-slamming, disguise-wearing, secret-hiding comedy. From the only surviving vehicle from the Green Hornet production to the fanciful Munchkin's hats in the all-time classic 'Wizard of Oz,' Julien's will not disappoint at this year's Hollywood spectacular.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will screen 'Tarzan and His Mate' (1934) and 'Tarzan Finds a Son!' (1939), and explore the secrets behind the making of these two jungle classics on Saturday, October 16, and Sunday, October 24, respectively, at the Academy's Linwood Dunn Theater in Hollywood. Presented by the Academy's Science and Technology Council, 'Me Tarzan, You Technology: The Magic of Tarzan in the Movies' will be hosted by Oscar-winning visual effects supervisor and Academy governor Craig Barron, with special guest Oscar-winning sound designer Ben Burtt. Both programs will begin at 7 p.m.

The Thin Man is a 1934 American comic detective film starring William Powell and Myrna Loy as Nick and Nora Charles, a flirtatious married couple who banter wittily as they solve crimes with ease. Nick is a hard drinking retired detective and Nora a wealthy heiress. Their dog, the Wire-Haired Fox Terrier Asta, played by Skippy, was also a popular character. Completed in 1934 and nominated for the Academy Award for Best Picture, the film was directed by W.S. Van Dyke from a script by Albert Hackett and Frances Goodrich; the screenplay was based on the mystery novel The Thin Man by Dashiell Hammett, supposedly based on his relationship with playwright Lillian Hellman. Also appearing in the film were Maureen O'Sullivan, Nat Pendleton, Minna Gombell, Cesar Romero and Porter Hall.
